Tenorio Tuna Fillet with Basil & Sundried Tomato, 120g

Use Tenorio’s tuna fillet with basil and sundried tomato to create simple, Mediterranean dishes. The tuna fish is canned with olive oil, providing a rich, rounded flavour. The addition of tomatoes and basil makes this canned fish delicious with pasta. As well as stirring through spaghetti, we love serving this tuna fillet on crunchy bread for a fishy take on bruschetta.

Tenorio tuna is the most premium tinned fish from Portuguese producer Cofaca. The range is famously more flavoursome than tuna you’d usually find in supermarkets. Francisco Rodriguez Tenório was a pioneer in the canned tuna industry, using only the best cuts of tuna for his preserves. He started his business in Portugal in 1880 producing his first product "Tuna in escabeche”. Today, his tinned fish is still produced in the Azores, at Cofaco factories, using the same high-quality and artisanal methods over a century later.
