Ruffoni Historia Décor Hammered Copper Fish Kettle, 50cm

The Ruffoni Historia copper fish kettle is a timeless piece of cookware. It's designed for the delicate poaching of large, whole fish. It comes with a rack so you can remove your fish without breaking it.

Made from solid copper, the kettle offers superior heat conductivity. It’s tin-lined and hammered for increased durability. The handles are cast in bronze and the lid is topped with a decorative acorn knob.

Set the kettle over two adjacent burners to gently poach your fish. The poaching liquid will keep the fish moist and tender. You can add flavourings like lemon, herbs and white wine. Or, try a Thai-style broth with coconut milk and curry paste.

Features:

  • Crafted from solid copper for superior heat conductivity
  • Hammered for beauty and durability
  • Tin-lined interior - naturally low-stick
  • Bronze handles attached with steel rivets
  • Lid topped with decorative acorn knob
  • Oven safe up to 220°C
  • Suitable for gas hobs
  • Lifetime warranty

Historia is Ruffoni’s most iconic collection. The pieces are inspired by cookware from royal palaces and castles. They are ‘a celebration of our shared culinary history’.

Handwash only. Not suitable for induction hobs.

About Ruffoni

Ruffoni’s story begins in 1931, when Grandfather Antonio hammered his first copper pot to celebrate his son’s birth. A small act of craft that set the family’s path. Two years later, the Ruffonis cycled more than 400km to Omegna — the lakeside town in northern Italy that still shapes their work today.

In 1962, Fremide opened the first workshop, teaming up with Valstrona valley blacksmiths to make copper cookware from start to finish. Every piece carried the marks of real hands and real heritage. The family kept going, passing skills down like treasured recipes.

That spirit lives on in every Ruffoni pan. The iconic acorn handles — cast in brass, solid and sculptural — echo the forests around Omegna and have become a hallmark of the brand.

Ruffoni cookware isn’t just made. It’s grown from generations of knowledge, built to cook the dishes that matter most.
