Murano Glass Tumbler, Rainbow

This Murano glass tumbler is a beautiful addition to your glassware collection. It catches the light, scattering rainbows across your table.

Fill the glass with water, juice or tropical mocktails. It’s perfect for Negronis and Old Fashioneds, too.

The tumbler is also available in blue and purple glass. Mix and match for a colourful table setting.

As these are all handmade by artisans, each piece is one of a kind and there will be slight variations in colour.

What is Murano glass?

Murano glass is produced on a small island in the Venetian Lagoon using techniques that are over 1000 years old. It is a painstaking process during which a mixture of silica sand, potassium, soda and lime is melted at 1500 degrees. Once it has cooled to 800 degrees and thickened in consistency, it is mouth-blown into shape by the local glass masters. Minerals are added to the glass mixture to create the bold colours and elaborate designs Murano is famous for. Known as ‘art glass’, Murano glass comes in many forms, including tableware, figurines, jewellery and chandeliers.
