Cook Pal Japanese Carbon Steeel Curved Saute Pan, 24cm
The Cook Pal sauté pan has a flat base and deep, curved sides. You can use it to stir fry, shallow fry, simmer and sauté. It’s lighter than most pans, so you can easily move it around your hob.
This sauté pan is compatible with gas, electric and inductions hobs. The wooden handle stays cool while you cook. The cooking surface heats quickly and evenly, sealing meat and locking in flavour. It retains heat well, keeping food warm until you’re ready to serve.
The pan has pouring spouts on both sides. You can pour sauces and soups into serving bowls with no mess. The spouts are also useful for draining off water and oil.
The deep sides are great for saucy dishes. Use this pan to simmer a curry, toss noodles or shallow fry a chicken schnitzel.
Cook Pal cookware is made from the highest grade of carbon steel. It’s produced in Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. This area is famous for the production of cutlery and kitchenware.
Carbon steel is extremely durable and resistant to rust. It won’t warp or stain, even after long-term use. The pans undergo a thermo-treatment process to increase hardness and corrosion resistance. With care and proper seasoning, these pans will last a lifetime.
Note: Thermo-treatment leaves small iron particles on the surface which can stain clothes and kitchen towels. The particles are 100% harmless and won’t affect the taste of your dish.
Not dishwasher safe. Wash in hot water with mild detergent. Use a soft sponge or natural fibre brush to remove food debris. Dry immediately after washing and ensure the pan is completely dry before storing. Do not use to store food. Seasoning required before first use.
