Africa’s Finest dried shrimp have a salty, fishy flavour. They can be used whole or chopped to add intense shrimp flavour to sauces, soups and stews. Soak the shrimp in hot water for 15 minutes to rehydrate them and reduce their saltiness.

Dried shrimp can also be ground to a powder and used to flavour groundnut stew, a spicy Nigerian peanut stew.
