Kilner Butter Churner, 1 Litre

The Kilner® butter churner turns thick cream into fresh butter. Just turn the handle and churn until the butter fat separates from the milk. You can make butter in as little as ten minutes!

Strain away the buttermilk and shape the butter fat using butter paddles. You can use the buttermilk in scone and pancake mixtures.

The set includes:

  • 1 x Kilner® 1 litre glass jar
  • 1 x Kilner® butter churner / paddle
  • 1 x recipe booklet

The booklet contains step-by-step instructions, as well as a selection of recipes. Delight dinner guests with lightly salted butter to spread on warm bread.

Once you’ve mastered the art, you can get creative with flavoured butters. Try adding herbs, spices and roasted garlic to your butter. Store it in the fridge or in ice cube trays in the freezer. You can pop out a flavoured butter cube whenever you need one.

The Kilner® butter churn is a great gift for food lovers. It’s a fun, simple kitchen project to try at home. Once you’ve made your own butter, you might never buy store-bought again.

The glass is dishwasher safe. The churning mechanism should be hand washed and dried immediately.
