Ozeki Junmai sake is a premium 'junmai' style sake, meaning it is made only from rice and koji grains. It is smooth and dry, with a light body and refreshing fruitiness. Ozeki Junmai is a perfect introduction to sake.
The small, but wide cups allow diners to enjoy the full aromas of the sake as they drink it. The stoneware also helps the sake keep its temperature, as it can either be drunk chilled, at room temperature, or heated up to 40°C – when it’s known as ‘atsukan’. This beautiful sake set is called the 'sakura' sake set, which means cherry blossom in Japanese. The set has a duck-egg blue grey finish, with pure duck-egg blue inside the cups.
